Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the development and implementation of corrosion prevention and control programs.
  2. Perform field inspections and evaluations of equipment, facilities, and pipelines to identify and assess corrosion damage.
  3. Assist with the collection and analysis of corrosion data and the preparation of corrosion reports.
  4. Assist with the development and maintenance of corrosion control records and documentation.
  5. Assist with the design and selection of materials, coatings, and cathodic protection systems for new facilities and equipment.
  6. Assist with the monitoring and maintenance of cathodic protection systems.
  7. Conduct corrosion testing and analysis of materials, coatings, and corrosion inhibitors.
  8. Assist with the development and implementation of corrosion awareness and training programs for operations and maintenance personnel.
  9. Maintain knowledge of corrosion control technologies and industry best practices.


Job Requirements:

  1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  2. Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, corrosion control methods, and materials selection.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  8. Familiar with oil and gas field safety risks, and have participated in corresponding safety training.
  9. Experience with NACE International standards and certifications is a plus.
