Manage and control all technical documentation and records related to the oil field operations, including drawings, procedures, manuals, and reports.
Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to date, and maintain a document control system for tracking revisions, approvals, and distribution.
Provide support to the project and operations teams in the preparation, review, and distribution of technical documents, and ensure that all stakeholders receive the required documentation on time.
Monitor and ensure compliance with document control procedures, policies, and standards, and participate in audits and inspections as required.5.Liaise with other departments, contractors, and vendors to coordinate document control activities, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Provide training and guidance to personnel on document control procedures and best practices, and ensure that all documentation is stored and archived in accordance with company policies.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in document control, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in document control software and systems, such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and EDMS.
Knowledge of technical documentation and records management processes, including document control standards and best practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to manage and organize large volumes of data and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to document control and records management.
