FSF Mech Technician

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, and valves.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems and make repairs as needed.
3. Use hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring equipment, to repair and replace mechanical components.
4. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts usage and repair histories.
6. Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
7. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop new solutions and improvements to equipment and processes.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations related to mechanical equipment and maintenance.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma or equivalent technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance or a related field preferred.
2. At least 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in the oil and gas industry.
3. Knowledge of mechanical equipment commonly used in the oil and gas industry.
4. Understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to mechanical maintenance.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
8. Familiar with oil and gas field safety risks, and have participated in corresponding safety training.
