Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, including cleaning and replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts.
Install and replace HVAC equipment and components, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics to identify and diagnose problems with HVAC systems.
Test HVAC systems to ensure they are working properly and efficiently.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts usage and repair histories.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop new solutions and improvements to HVAC systems and processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations related to HVAC systems and maintenance.
Job Requirements:
diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in HVAC or a related field preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance in the oil and gas industry.
Knowledge of HVAC equipment commonly used in the oil and gas industry.
Understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to HVAC maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments and withstand exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and other hazards.
