Instrument Technician – CPF & GPP

Job Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems in the oilfield's Field Surface Facilities.

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with instrumentation and control systems, and make necessary repairs.

Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accurate readings and proper functioning.

Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and testing performed on instrumentation and control systems.

Follow safety guidelines and protocols when working with electrical and hazardous materials.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma or equivalent.
2. Technical degree or certification in instrumentation, electronics, or a related field preferred.
3. At least 3 years of experience working as an instrument technician in the oil and gas industry.
4. Familiarity with process control instrumentation and systems commonly used in oil and gas operations.
5. Knowledge of electrical and electronic theory, including digital and analog circuitry.
6. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
7. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
8. Willingness to work in remote locations and in all types of weather conditions.
9. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety policies and procedures.
