Job Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on equipment, structures, and materials to detect defects or flaws.
  2. Interpret test results and prepare written reports of findings.
  3. Perform various NDT methods such as magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiographic, dye penetrant, and visual inspections.
  4. Operate and maintain NDT equipment and tools.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all aspects of NDT work.
  6. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and technicians to resolve NDT-related issues.7.Develop and maintain NDT procedures and documentation.
  7. Train and mentor junior NDT technicians.
  8. Keep up-to-date with new NDT technologies and techniques.


Job Requirements:

  1. Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Certification in at least one NDT method (e.g., ASNT Level II or III).
  3. Knowledge of NDT methods and techniques, including their advantages and limitations.
  4. Familiarity with NDT equipment and tools.
  5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  6. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Familiar with oil and gas field safety risks, and have participated in corresponding safety training.
  10. Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ASTM.
