Perform maintenance and repair of 11KV and above overhead transmission lines.
Assist in the diagnosis of overhead line power failures.
Perform emergency corrective maintenance activities during incident of power failure.
Installation of insulators, fastening components and accessories of overhead line spares.
Ability to run out, tension, sag, bind in, joint, and bond and terminate all commonly used conductors and service cables.
Use safety equipment and protective devices and work in compliance with requirements of safety codes of practice, safety procedures, etc.
Ability to use knots and hitches and apply them in the maintenance and repair of overhead lines.
Carry out any modification / small project works to upgrade the overhead line distribution system.
Perform routine inspection / maintenance (CM) activities and update the records.
Perform all the preventive maintenance (PM) activities and update the records.
Perform general housekeeping functions.
Obtain Cold Work Permit.
