Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Naya Engineering Services Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our team for major projects in the oil & gas and industrial sectors across Iraq.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing instrumentation systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Supervise calibration and maintenance of instrumentation systems (pressure, temperature, flow, level, pH, conductivity, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and maintain control systems including PLC, DCS, and SCADA
• Implement preventive and corrective calibration programs in line with ISO/IEC 17025
• Develop and update calibration procedures and technical documentation
• Analyze complex faults and provide effective technical solutions
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems
• Ensure proper operation of Fire & Gas (F&G) and explosion-proof (Ex) systems

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of Siemens, Emerson, Honeywell, or Yokogawa systems
• Proficiency in calibration tools and software
• Ability to read P&ID, Loop Diagrams, and Wiring Schematics
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Willing to work on-site and in rotation schedules
