Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including assigning tasks, supervising personnel, and ensuring that work is completed on time and to the required standard.
Ensure that workshop equipment and tools are in good working condition, properly maintained, and used safely.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure that materials and equipment required for workshop activities are available and in good condition.
Maintain accurate records of workshop activities, including work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations related to workshop operations and safety.
Develop and implement procedures to improve workshop efficiency and productivity.
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for workshop personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement maintenance and repair schedules for equipment and vehicles used in the oil field.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent.
Technical or vocational training in a related field preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in workshop coordination or a related field.
Knowledge of workshop operations and equipment commonly used in the oil and gas industry.
Understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to workshop operations and maintenance.
Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
Familiar with oil and gas field safety risks, and have participated in corresponding safety training.
