QA/QC Engineer – NDT Level III

Naya Engineering Services Group is seeking a highly qualified QA/QC Engineer – NDT Level III to join our team for major engineering inspection and laboratory projects across Iraq.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring quality compliance, supervising non-destructive testing (NDT) activities, and maintaining the highest industry standards across industrial and oil & gas projects.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee all Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities within the project scope
• Review and evaluate inspection reports, ensuring compliance with international standards and specifications
• Prepare and review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality control procedures
• Lead inspection teams and provide training to technicians and field inspectors
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure work aligns with technical specifications and client requirements
• Investigate defects and non-conformities, and prepare corrective action reports

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Valid NDT Level III certification in multiple methods (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT at minimum)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/QC and engineering inspection within large industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of international standards: ASME, API, ISO, AWS, ASNT
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Willingness to work in field environments and industrial project sites

🏅 Preferred Certifications

• CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2 / CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)
• API Certifications (e.g., API 510, 570, 653)
• Candidates with these certifications will have a strong advantage
